### Why should local-news event campaigns distinguish viewing from attendance?

The Texas Tribune's About page describes public events, livestream availability and archived videos. Report the actual action sought: an in-person attendance, a livestream view or later archive engagement. Online viewing does not by itself establish attendance at the venue or paid admission.
