Should an AED offer distinguish public-access and professional-use buyers?

FDA identifies US public-access AEDs for laypeople with minimal training and professional-use AEDs for first responders with additional training. An equipment enquiry should name its intended setting and model category. Those labels do not establish that every device fits every buyer.

Are fully automatic and semi-automatic AEDs the same offer?

FDA's US overview distinguishes semi-automatic AEDs, which prompt a user to press a button, from fully automatic AEDs, which deliver a shock without that intervention when their software determines it is required. Specify the offered operating mode rather than using an undifferentiated automatic claim.

Can any replacement pads or battery be included in an AED quote?

FDA's US AED page says necessary accessories are expected to be labeled for use with an FDA-approved AED. It also advises checking manufacturer approval status and using authorized retailers. A quote should identify the device and compatible accessory models; this packet makes no compatibility determination for a particular pair.

What evidence belongs behind an FDA-status statement on an AED landing page?

US FDA distinguishes registration and listing from approval, clearance or authorization. The AED page separately lists approved devices and accessories. Suggested practice: tie a claim to the named model's applicable FDA record rather than a seller certificate or category-wide badge.
